This policy explains how GuessTheTime collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the website, play games, create a remembered profile, or view advertising.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use GuessTheTime, we may collect:

- ✦Your optional full name and address when you add them to your player profile.
- ✦Game information such as scores, timing results, ranks, challenge dates, and leaderboard history.
- ✦Account-session records used to keep your profile connected and secure.
- ✦Limited device, browser, page-view, diagnostic, and network information provided by our hosting, analytics, security, and advertising services.
How we use information
We use information to:
- ✦Create and reconnect remembered player profiles.
- ✦Operate Daily Challenges, prevent duplicate entries, calculate rankings, and display leaderboards.
- ✦Save profile details, game history, and reward eligibility information.
- ✦Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve performance.
- ✦Display and measure advertising and understand general platform usage.
- ✦Contact eligible players about announced rewards when necessary.
Cookies and local storage
GuessTheTime uses an HTTP-only session cookie to remember your player profile. We also use browser storage or cookies for preferences such as language, theme, installation prompts, cached results, and game history.
Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, personalize, limit, and measure ads. Where required, advertising consent is collected through a consent-management message before advertising technologies are used.
Advertising partners
We may use Google AdSense, Adsterra, or Monetag to display advertising. These providers and their advertising partners may process device, browser, IP-address, page-view, and interaction information to deliver, secure, limit, personalize, and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

Service providers and sharing
We use Supabase for database and account-session infrastructure, Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Google AdSense, Adsterra, or Monetag for advertising. These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not sell your profile information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer where legally permitted.
Data retention and security
We retain player, score, and profile information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts, leaderboards, Daily Challenge history, rewards, security, and legal obligations. Session records may remain until they expire, are revoked, or are removed during routine maintenance.
We use reasonable technical measures, including restricted database access, hashed session tokens, HTTP-only cookies, and encrypted network connections. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
- ✦Leave optional email, full-name, and address fields blank.
- ✦Sign out to remove the remembered session from your current browser.
- ✦Use the advertising consent message to manage available ad choices.
- ✦Request access, correction, or deletion of your profile information by contacting us.
Some score or leaderboard information may need to be retained for integrity, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Children’s privacy
GuessTheTime is not intended to collect personal information from children without appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform, service providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with its effective date.
